CFC Youth

The CFC Youth Group, which is for sixth through 12th graders, meets on Sunday evenings at 5:48, under the direction of Torie and Arlo Eddy. You do not need to be a CFC member to attend the youth group meetings. The youth group will not be meeting in June or July.

CONGRATULATIONS JUD!

One of the founding members of the CFC Youth Group, 548, Jud Gorton has officially graduated from Twin Lakes High School. Jud's plan is to attend Ball State. We are all so very proud of him and can't wait to see God's plan unfold in his life. Youth leader Torie Eddy presented Jud with a new bible during worship.

The Youth group has been busy with a number of activities, including water kickball! If you are between sixth grade and a senior in high school, or if you know someone who is, you are encouraged to check out what's happening with the youth group. Meetings take place Sunday evenings at 5:48. Stop by CFC to see what's happening. You do not have to be a CFC member to join in the youth group fun.

548 PLAY A HUGE SUCCESS

Wow! The CFC Youth Group, 548, put on an amazing play for a large crowd. The group was given a standing ovation following the presentation of “Angels Among Us,” which told the story of the birth of Jesus. The play was fantastic and there were many incredible singing voices too! Thanks to everyone who helped out, prayed for them, and those who attended. Here are just a few images from the production.

During the first meeting of the new year, the Youth Group spent some time working on inspirational boards, that will help them as they face the challenges they are presented with daily. If you are interested in attending the CFC Youth Group, and getting connected with other Christian teens, you do not need to be a member of the church. It's open to area youth from 6th through 12th grades. The meetings are held at CFC Sunday evenings at 5:48. If you are wondering about the time, and the meaning, just stop by next Sunday and ask.

Youth Event A Success!!

A huge thanks to everyone who made the first Play To Win Youth Event such an amazing success at Christ Fellowship Church. The day included music, testimony, scripture, food, and a challenge to share the gospel.

A special thanks to CFC Youth Leader Torie Eddy, who stepped out in faith and organized the day, as well as to Schonda Gritten, who walked alongside Torie in this effort, and Pastor Joseph Bein, who led worship. To the musicians and the countless volunteers, we extend our heartfelt gratitude.

Most of all, we are grateful to the young people from the community who attended; we pray that you were blessed. God was honored, and lives were impacted for Jesus Christ!

We are looking forward to organizing more events like this in the near future. Stay tuned!

Youth Group Worships At Winter Jam!!

All smiles, as some of the youth group prepared for worship and music at Winter Jam.

The CFC Youth Group and leaders recently traveled to Indianapolis to join thousands of others in worshiping Jesus during Winter Jam. This event provided a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and spiritual growth, and the participants had a great time. We look forward to them having many more enriching experiences like this throughout the year.

In addition to special events, the CFC Youth Group holds regular meetings that are open to any sixth through twelfth grader. These youth meetings take place every Sunday at 5:48 PM at Christ Fellowship Church. We invite all interested individuals to come and see what is happening within our community.

Participation in these meetings is not limited to members of Christ Fellowship Church; everyone is welcome to join us. We encourage young people to engage with their peers and explore their faith in a supportive environment.

Youth Group Celebrates Christmas

The youth group celebrated Christmas together.

There was a spaghetti dinner, along with plenty of games and fun!

Youth Group Spreads Christmas Joy

The youth group went to Chestnut Village Apartments and decorated Christmas cookies while listening to Christmas music with the residents. There were 6 residents who participated and 10 of us who spread Christmas joy and love.

CFC Youth group members have attended several concerts, including one at the state fair. Additional trips like these are also being planned. Come and join in the fun!
