Sunday at 10am
WelcomeChrist Fellowship Church held our first service on February 12, 2012. With Gods guidance we have been able to reach many needs and people within our community. We very quickly grew out of our first church building. We were blessed to be able to move to a larger facility. Gods plan did not stop there though. He then presented us with an opportunity to move into our current building at 570 S. Maple Street. We have seen God's hand move several times since our inception. In October of 2021 God decided to take us in a new direction with an opportunity to bring in a new Pastor. God's miraculous ways lead us to find Pastor Bob & Reenea Ehle, who had just moved to this area from Missouri. It has become clear through many pieces of an impossible puzzle coming together that God has a plan. We have been blessed with our new shepherd, and the Holy Spirit continues to move. He has revealed that He has great plans for CFC. We are a close-knit family with love for one another. We are a very welcoming and loving church, and you will feel our authenticity from the moment you walk in the doors. You are welcome to join us for worship Sunday morning at 10:00am. |

Hebrews - Jesus is Better
Learn how Christ is the substance of the shadowy truths the Old Testament records. Discover how He fulfills and completes the work of angels, prophets, priests, and ceremonial laws, establishing a better covenant. Written to those tempted to return to the familiar paths of dead ritual, Hebrews calls us to fix our gaze instead on the resurrected Christ as we run the race set before us. In Him alone we have hope and salvation. He alone is the radiance of the glory of God. In Him alone we have access to God the Father. He alone is better.

The Sermon on the Mount
In His sweeping depiction of kingdom citizenship, Jesus utters some of the most familiar passages in all Scripture. Most of us have only encountered the Sermon on the Mount in fragments, considering its subdivisions as complete teachings in their own right - a study of blessedness; a reflection on the Lord's Prayer; a discussion of religious devotion, money, ambition, and relationships. But what if we navigated these three chapters in Matthew as they were originally heard: as one cohesive, well-ordered message, intended to challenge us to think differently about what it means to be a follower of Jesus, a citizen of the kingdom of heaven?
Sunday Adult Study
Sundays @ 9am starting January 26 2025 - 1 Timothy Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study
The book of 1 Timothy serves as a crucial epistle in the New Testament, addressing various aspects of church leadership and personal conduct. Written by the Apostle Paul to his young protƩgƩ Timothy, this letter provides guidance on how to lead a congregation effectively and live a life that reflects Christian values. It is essential for adult Sunday Bible study groups to delve into this text, as it offers timeless principles that remain relevant in contemporary church settings.
In the opening chapter, Paul emphasizes the importance of sound doctrine and warns against false teachings. He urges Timothy to remain steadfast in his faith and to confront those who deviate from the truth. This section sets the tone for the entire letter, highlighting the necessity of maintaining doctrinal integrity within the church. As participants in a Bible study, it is vital to discuss the implications of these warnings and how they apply to modern-day challenges in faith communities.
Moving into the second chapter, Paul outlines specific instructions for worship and prayer. He encourages believers to pray for all people, including leaders, emphasizing that such prayers are vital for leading peaceful and quiet lives. Additionally, Paul addresses the role of women in the church, advocating for modesty and good works over outward adornment. This topic often generates discussion among study participants, prompting reflections on cultural contexts and the application of these teachings today.
The third chapter shifts focus to the qualifications for church leaders, including bishops and deacons. Paul provides a detailed list of attributes that these leaders should possess, such as being above reproach, temperate, and able to teach. This section invites participants to consider the qualities they value in spiritual leaders and how these standards can be upheld in their own church environments.
Finally, in the latter chapters, Paul addresses various issues related to personal conduct, relationships within the church, and the importance of perseverance in faith. He encourages Timothy to be an example to others and to remain committed to his calling despite challenges. This call to action resonates deeply with adult learners, as it reinforces the idea that every believer has a role in fostering a healthy church community.
In conclusion, a study of 1 Timothy provides rich insights into church leadership and personal faith. By engaging with this text, adult Sunday Bible study groups can explore foundational truths that guide their spiritual journeys and enhance their understanding of communal worship. This exploration not only deepens their knowledge but also fosters a commitment to living out their faith in tangible ways.
